What’s the difference between paint protection film (ppf) and ceramic coating or protective coating?

One of the questions I get a lot is, what is the difference between paint protection film and ceramic coating?

So here it is…

Paint protection film is a very durable thermoplastic that is self healing from scratches, and even rock chips. The purpose of paint protection film is to protect your vehicle from rocks, bugs, road splatter and minor abrasions.

Ceramic coating is also a very durable coating that has nanotechnology. The purpose of a ceramic coating is to repel water, dirt, and oil. It also reduces micro scratches, cleaning time, and protect you vehicle from bugs, and road splatter. Ceramic coating also has the added bonus of keeping your vehicle looking like it’s brand new after every wash. AND, there’s no waxing or buffing necessary!!

We recommend that you apply both the Paint Protection Film and Ceramic Coating for the ultimate in vehicle protection. They work best when used together! However, if you’re on a budget, we strongly recommend at least investing in a ceramic coating at the bare minimum.

You won’t regret it, and your car will thank you!
